RAM OC any benefits with a 3570k?

So as the title ask is there and benefits to overclocking RAM be it tighter timing or faster MHz, I understand it changed a bit since my last CPU Q6600 so thought I would ask for other peoples experience

Just to say, 8gb 1600mhz 9-9-9-24 is just about perfect for general purpose/gaming I would say

I think the benefits stop after about 1866mhz for gaming.
Other apps can sometimes like better RAM speeds

Also a heavy uses of Google sketch up and light wave as a hobbies
