ram heat spreaders

I haven't tried overclocking yet, but I plan to. I heard it goes to about 3.2ghz and above it's unstable. I had a core2duo e6400 2.13ghz and when I replaced it my performance sky rocketed. before I could play Crysis on all medium at 1024x768 (no AA) with 40fps average, but now I can play it all on high (with no AA and medium shadows) at 1024x768 with 45fps average. worth the $80 it cost me lol.

$80 is a good price! prob more expensive than that here tho :( i was originally thinkin about the 6400 cause ill be gettin a good m/b for overclocking

but as ive been reading up there ive seen your e6300 can hit 4ghz so thats definately good stuff! ill give that a try once ive found the max of my q6600

wow, 4ghz... sadly my motherboard isn't really for overclocking, it was $45 lol. I'll see it even support overclocking when I have free time.

yeah your m/b will be able to overclock its just that it having the G31 chipset its not going to be a big one

yeah seems like the mad little overclockin chip but ive seen madder chips the e2160's gettin over 4ghz from 1.8 stock these new low end intel chips really are takin amd's crown as cheap opportunities and they clock a lot higher aswell
