Hi all,

Okay, so what would be your suggestion for a RAM kit for a

Gigabyte G1.Sniper M5 MATX and an Intel Core i5 4670K. Price isn't much of a worry.

Should I buy 8GB or 16GB, my board states the following:
4x DDR3 1600/1333/1066 MHz memory modules, (1866/2133/2200/2400/2600/2800/ 2933Mhz OC)

Some Corsair Vengeance Pro in silver would look nice @ 1866/2400 and grab 16 gig before the price goes up!! And just for balance sake get 4x4gig sticks.

Ram prices will only keep going up until ddr4 is released-at least that's the projection- so mine as well get the most possible. Though IMO go for 2x8gb just for the sake of it and the ability to add more if the need ever arises.

How much value do you get from decreasing CAS latency and is there a sweet spot on price? e.g. is it worth going from 2400MHz CL11 to CL10 - to me that looks like it might be worth it - but CL9 is a bigger price jump. Any opinions?

ram prices will not go up due to the fire @hynix reports now say it was in an air filtration system and the manufacturing parts were unaffected.

Cheers for the reply lads, I already bought some Corsair Dominator Platinums (2x8GB) two or three weeks back. I just thought hmm...looks like my thread on the forum home page and it was. :)
