Hey, Now I have recently done a complete fresh instll of windows to much success (
) however there is one thing that is putting a dent in it all.
This would be the fact that on my last install of windows I put my two extra hard drives (they do not have the operating system on, thats my SSD) into Raid 0. However last time something was going wrong and so instead of Raiding them through the bios like normal I took the advice from people to raid them through windows and it worked.
Here is the problem though, due to me doing it in windows last time, they have actually carried on over and kept in raid 0 through windows with some non important memory (which I have now deleated)
However for this install I'd like to do things properly (in the manual) and raid my two extra Hard drives through the Bios rather than window.
Now I'm not too sure on how to do this, but I am in the process of formatting the Raid 0 drive and then I think I need to split up the volume again? once this is done both of the hard drives should be seperate again. Then I belive after I downloaded the drivers etc, I can put the HD's to raid on the Bios and do it that way.
Please could anyone confirm what I am saying above sounds correct and if I'm just talking rubbish (very possible) then please correct me
All other advice is very welcome as well and please let me know if you would do it a different way etc. Thanks.
