Radspace Question

I'm building a new system made of Phanteks Enthoo Primo, Maximus VII Ranger, 4690k, Powercolor 290 PCS+(already have it), 8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro Red, Corsair AX860.
Now I'm not sure on the radspace and was hoping you guys could give me some advice on that. I was thinking to start with a UT60 480mm in the top and I do plan to overclock both, the CPU and GPU. Would that keep it cool and quiet with fans at 7v or should I add some more space?

I'd go 420mm on top (or 360) if you dont like 140mm rads. with a 240 or 280 in the floor. Reason being as i know the 480 will fit you'll have fun doing anything with the fans after install if you say decide you dont like the fans and want to change them out. cause one will be in the 5.25 bay fully. I ran my primo with a 420mm and 280mm rad with a 2600K oc'd a FX9370 oc'd and a couple different 2011 proc with great results all used the same xfired 7970's

I'm cooling an i7 4820K & GTX780 both overclocked in a primo using a 480mm XT45 and 240mm XT45. Fans are all AP-15's running at 900rpm or so. Temperatures ~50 on the gpu and mid 60's on the cpu when folding. When gaming they are around 40 on the gpu and mid 50's on the cpu.

Thanks guys.

I'm still inclined to go with the 480 since I really don't plan to change the fans, but I'm considering a 360+240.
Parts I'm thinking on going for so far: UT60 480, Koolance CPU-380, Phobya Balancer 250, Alphacool VPP65, Koolance Laing D5 Top, Primochill Advanced LRT 3/8" ID 5/8" OD bloodshed red, Monsoon free compression fittings, sp120 fans, distilled water.

Now since it's not recommended to use silver coil with nickel plated parts(koolance 380), do I just go with PTNuke?

Also any changes you would make?

I've got EK nickel plated GPU blocks and I simply used EK coolant to make sure there weren't any issues. a couple of years later (changed the coolant once in an annual service) and no issues. Unless you are confident with what you are doing I'd suggest you go with the recommended options.

I've never known nickel plated stuff react with anything else mate. The big ones are mixing alli and copper that's when you can possibly get some major electrolysis shiz going on. Nickel plated blocks are fairly none reactive in my experience.

Cheers mate. I"ll go with the EK coolant as well then to be on the safe side.

I've found out from specialtech while I was adding parts to the basket("not recommended to use a silver coil with any nickel plated waterblocks" in the product description), and tbh I don't wanna risk it in my first loop.

Now I'm just waiting for EK to release the GPU waterblock, which should be by the end of this month according to them.

ah see i don't use killcoils, never had the need
