you know copper tarnish's over time right. While I can see the appeal to the looks of it. It will be a nightmare to keep clean not to mention the oils from your skin can have a lasting effect on it. You'd be better off painting some rads copper than going with the bare metal copper. You can of course apply a clear coat on the rads and pipes but they'll have to be cleansed very well prior to its application.

Hell I went with an all copper build with my last upgrade to Switch Blade using 100% copper rads and blocks. But there painted externally lol. About the only thing that isnt copper is my tubing and a some fittings.

Thanks for your input. I was thinking about using lacquer. Was also thinking about maybe making the pipes look old, with a tarnished greenish tinge like if they were from Rapture. Bioshock theme might be an idea. What do you think?

Lacquer will most likely go on to thick and thereby possibly reducing performance. You'll want a few light coats of clear coat. If you plan on aging them well I'd just get black ones and go from there. Would most likely be easier to age a darker flat surface vs a bright shiny surface.
