Will the cheaper one perform almost aswell as the black ice with 2x 68RPM fans??

I need it to cool my CPU over-clocked to a high amount, its a quad so lots of heat, and my GPU which doesn't make hardly any.

As long as the cheaper one is good enough Ill get that I'm not really bothered about a possible few degrees.

Like a £7 difference between them which is a lot to me.

I had an XSPC, started leaking within a day and had to send it back. I've had 2 Alphacool radiators, not a problem with either after intense usage, I think their Black Ice Xtremes rebranded, so i'd say go with the blackice

if your going to get the blackice stealth your not going to need powerful fans at the most 44cfm.

I like XSPC stuff, never had a problem with mine. For my newest project I opted for the Black Ice Stealth simply for the size.

The best Rads would be the PA120 range

Say I wanted to mount it on the back of my stacker 830's mobo tray for example, can you reccomend any exact way of doing it?

You can't do that. Air needs to pass through the rad, in one side, out the other. Mounting it onto a solid surface like the mobo tray would cripple airflow.

Cut some holes in the base/ceiling of your case and mount internally. Or if you have spare 5.25 bays you could stand your rad up vertically.

Last but not least external mount, which works well but IMO is ugly!

Edit: BTW I had a BI GT stealth and it was cooling an oc'd e6600 and an oc'd 7900gto no sweat. Later the same rad cooled a big fat peltier... I liked that rad...

No no no no I meant to the back of the tray, as in externally, if it was right up against the side I couldn't plug anything in.

What I was also looking at was this:

They are meant to allow a 80mm fan bracket join to a 120mm rad, however, I'm pretty sure if I simply put em all in the same direction I could use them to space between a 120mm fan slot and my rad.

I got plenty of screws.

So this may be what I want, then I can mount it away from the back of the case but still in that direction, make some holes down the bottom, then mount 2 more case fans on the bottom of the case for extra air flow to my heatsinks. Sounds cool to me anyway.

Wow you must have been Damn unlucky fella... In the 3 years we've been selling XSPC Radiators we have only ever had to RMA 2 one was for Postal damage and the other was a leak due to a damaged end tank (could have been you?)

Same goes for any Radiator brand really, they way they are made there shouldnt be any problems with them..
