R4BE and Error code 34

Hey guys,

My rig was working fine when I left for work but now I've come home to that it wont boot and Displays an error code of 34. Well it boots but I get no display output.

32-36 Cpu post memory initialization, im assuming it means 32 to 36 therefore 34 is included.

I've tried resetting the cmos, reseating bot my ram and graphics card but don't seem to be getting anywhere.

Has anyone encountered this before? A push in the right direction would be appreciated.

System specs are in my signature.

Cheers,
Xr

I'm unfamiliar with the newer UEFI post codes, but the older AMI-Bios code 34 Pre 1999 was memory failure, and post 99' was video failed to initialise.. going off the list (I took the liberty of making it bigger) and the Asus forums, Code 34 is something to do with your CPU memory controller...

Yea sorry i was posting off my phone as i was sitting on the floor punching my rig.

I just got it to boot. I think that one of my Bios's maybe corrupt so it's giving me an odd Code.

I completely forgot that my board has dual bios (one of the reasons i bought it in the first place zzzz) as soon as i swapped bios booted fine no issues.

Great stuff, keep us updated if it goes south again, might be a good idea to get the bios flashed and backed up (just in case).
