I've got 15lbs of r11 sitting next to me, yay. This refrigerant is liquid most of the time and boils @ 24c. I'll be using it in my autocascade projects. :) :)

That and I'm still waiting on my load tester :(

A refrigerant thats actually liquid and requires a vacuum to boil (sorta like water) except it boils @ 24c and is incredibly massive (g/mol)

so for us out there that don't know how all that aplys to us, what kind of temp.s can we expect out of it?

if you have a leak in a systeam under a vacume once you pach it up don't you have to empty and reflush the lines becusces air and debrie will hae been sucked in to the lines?

This is a stage 1 ref. Its used in cascades to cool the stage 2 refs, so it dosn't give you a real end result temp & iirc its nt very good standalone.

Someone (Nol) will have to confim that though.

On a totaly unrelated note: 1st post from linux:)

Haha,

I'd actually consider this a Stage-0 gas, as its normally not even a gas ;)

Temperatures out of this wouldn't freeze ice laughably.

But combined in an autocascade with alot of other gases this refrigerant will help with both subcooling and compressor cooling. My autocascade will have quite a few tricks up its sleeve.

Yup here's some big ass updates!

LOAD TESTER HAS ARRIVED GUYS!

Just some random parts, nut riveted condenser and 5 foot braided flex line.

And the first of many cheap tube HX's (3-4 more for the autocascade!)

You bet, and I'm going to probably tune and finish the mach this week or sooner.

My own singlestage is waiting on a repaired chilly1 flex line, the chiller will be finished as well, the cascade case is in the cutting phase, and the autocascade is going to be built on my SC12MLX which is begging for abuse.

You got no idea :)

Between all my stuff lately i'm in the hole, but I can finnaly really push some nice stuff out (well everything i makes nice, now its nicer ;))
