Died playing WoW. What a way to go.

oh man, that artifacting brings back memories of my 7900GTX. it lasted a few years before any problems, but at the end it just got too bad to carry on. there was even artifacting during internet browsing and normal desktop use (random lines everywhere on the screen).

from what I learned afterwards, it was supposedly a vram issue and nothing could be done (or if something could, it wasn't worth the price).

at least you're still under warranty!

Wow, that must've been a fun game of TF2.

Sorry. But yeah, like Proctor said, at least you're still under warranty, so you can just probably RMA for a new one.

Hope this doesn't happen to me with my incoming GTX 580.

I hope this is not going to be common because having a graphics card die is really annoying I had a xfx 5970 black edition die with in 1 day of use.

One dead card is not indicative of a larger issue. I work in the service dept. at a PC store. Trust me when I say, nothing is immune.

Anyway, replaced my card today, and currently putting the new one through its paces!

DOA happens. I should make that my avatar.
