Quick Question

What I mean is, you can have them swap the bay res for the one you like before they send it off. If it's a kit they put together on site, it should be no problem for them, they'll just need to adjust the pricing to accommodate the res and any brackets you would need to mount it and the pump.

No probs :D

Pretty much a case of ringing them up on Monday and asking them for what you need. I have noticed that the D5 bay res is also out of stock, so it might indeed be a case of it being put together on site and being held back by that res, so you might not need to wait for them to get anything in stock, they might just get it sent to you on the day, but as I said, I don't know if they do or not, so in any case - ring them up and ask :)

Here in the US EK kits are twice as expensive as an XSPC kit. Don't know if that's the case in the UK but if it is mine as well build your own custom kit.

If that's the one I saw on specialtech, the rad is 45mm thick, which wouldn't be good if the chap wants to throw a gpu in the loop later on

<EDIT>
NBD, EK kits are cheaper in the EU, as they're built here (Slovenia I believe), so aren't subject to heavy import charges.

Right, well I got off the blower to specialtech an hour and a half ago, the chap said that they get the kits ready from XSPC, so I guess I was wrong :blush:, however they can put together the exact same kit for you on site, with any mods you'd like to it, such as the tube res, and any kind of mounting brackets you might need, and of course coolant.

The price will obviously be different, as the kits come with the sale discounts, however it can still be cheaper, taking the price of a tube res vs bay res into consideration.

He said it's best to send them an e-mail, so as to avoid lengthy phone conversations, then they'll take care of it.
