So I've been running this Alphacool VPP655 for around a month and half now and about two weeks ago i started to hear a high pitch ringing like sound coming from inside the case, but it was intermittent and barely audible so i didn't really care to much. A week later the noise has picked up it has gotten louder and no longer intermittent. Did some looking around found it was from the pump. I did a few checks, tried to re-bleed the system in case it was an air pocket, no result. Ran the pump on all the speed settings noise was still there and just as loud on 1 as it was on 5. So now im beginning to think it's a bad pump and may be on its way out.
Where my question comes in is does anyone know if its a common problem for D5s (or their 3rd party variants) to make a very high pitch very irritating noise? Or is my pump near death and should i be looking at replacing it?
