They were reviewed on another site and fell apart before he could test them. Maybe damaged from previous reviewer but who knows. Looked very cheap.

Nvidia Infinite Resolution Patent (link in article, on mobile can't load that page for some reason)

Not sure If this is legit. But if it is the TLDR version is games created with Nvidias software solution can create a vector based texture instead of a static image texture. 2 benefits: FAR LESS storage consumption, meaning smaller downloads. Other is because it's not static, it can just scale to your resolution. That's the infinite part.

Just came across this released a few days ago. Turns out many cards from Nvidia have a display port bug.

NVIDIA’s DisplayPort bug surfaces for GeForce 10 series and 900 series, firmware update fix rolled out
The issue lies with the DisplayPort 1.3 and 1.4 spec and if you are using a newer monitor you might run into the known symptoms which range from OS slowdowns to blank screens

According to TPU, some of these functions dont work as intended and can cause issues such as the OS failing to load, frozen or or slow boot sequences and blank screens. NVIDIA did not wait for the AIB partners to fix the issue themselves and simply rolled an update that should work with pretty much every card that can have this issue. NVIDIA’s tool detects if your graphics card needs the update, and then updates the BIOS for you all the while staying inside of Windows.

I ran the firmware updater on my 1080ti and it needed updating.

Not exactly new news but Cablemod have now got a bracket that can be put into any standard sized ATX case to enable vertical GPU mounting, Wouldn't mind getting this.

Vertical mount is neat and all but it definitely is not practical for air cooling.. you suffer tremendous heat build up and therefore lose performance and silence

Usually yes but usually vertical mounts place the GPU right up against a side panel, This places it further back so the GPU doesn't lose any airflow.

I think I am going to do a rig rebuild soon. I want something absolutely huge, with a 480 rad in. So I need a new (large) case, rad, and new pump. Then I will get something like this. Any idea on the price? (I can only imagine it's going to cost like £100 or something daft).

60 euros so around 50 quid.

Includes everything you need, Bracket, PCI-E extender cable, Display Port extenders etc....

Well it's a no go sadly.

I had a look earlier and found a 420 rad by Aquacomputer that matches the 240 Watercool one I have already (the Noctua of rads...) but, the pump is 100 euro (so is the rad) so that's like £180. Which is fine. However, time you add in a new case @ £200 or so and a new PSU (because I've butchered my cables and you can't get them in any other colour but white any more) and yeah, it's not worth it. The cooling I have now is adequate, I just wanted to make it even more quiet. But £500-£600 for that? yeah, that is worse than buying an old BMX tbh.

I wish Bethesda would add sit down control to FO4 VR. I would so buy a headset in a heartbeat. But I can't be standing up waving my arms around for 14 hours.

Ah well, roll on the FO76 collector's edition I guess. Oh yeah, talking of FO76? it's in West Virginia, pretty much 100% confirmed. The song is playing (Take me home, etc etc West Virginia) but there is a picture in a frame on the wall and it is of a mine in WV. And it is like, 100% definitely this mine. Confirmed using IRL pics.

I've basically blocked it out of my head tbh. I really have. If I get all excited and it's an MMO with no private co op a part of me would die. So I have absolutely no expectations at all, then I can't be heart broken. If, however, they have added co op? it could just be the best game for co op ever. Right as we just finished FC5 today (with both endings).
