AMD Announces Real-time Ray Tracing Support for ProRender and Radeon GPU Profiler 1.2

From AnandTech:

First disclosed this evening with teaser videos related to a GDC presentation on Unity, today AMD is announcing two developer-oriented features: real-time ray tracing support for the company's ProRender rendering engine, and Radeon GPU Profiler 1.2.

Well that's good news. And hey, maybe this is why Navi will be scaleable and have more than one core.

Cool, just a shame that the dox doesn't reveal anything. Kinda wish this was the underside of the box to read some juicy details.

I was thinking that as well. Or even a Crosshair VII Extreme box which would stir the pot a bit. If they've actually started distribution I'd assume more leaks are on the horizon

Something is going on... One of the sites I visit just got a new reviewer, and we have a "FML" esque thread on that forum. Any way, he accidentally blew something up. He would not reveal what, but it was definitely some sort of CPU or board. When I said yesterday about it possibly being Intel's new 8/16 he quoted me and replied with "No comment". So something is going on. Either Ryzen+ is starting to find its way out there (which means so will the boards) or Intel are also up to something.

I don't think it will be long now before we find out :)

The all new iCUE from Corsair is out, Combines Corsair Link and CUE into 1.

Working REALLY well so far :)

Does this completely replace Link or do I still need that installed as well? The Corsair forum just says make sure Link is updated. I wish I could just get speed control on my ML120's without having to buy a Commander

Is it weird to jump in on the GPU manufacturing race with a company that's way behind in sales, cannot up with the mining demand, and with an architecture that's 18 months old? Mining sales?
