UPDATE: Webdush Securities analyst Michael Pachter claims that his quotes were severely misrepresented in the Daily Star interview, and has given the following statement to Tech Raptor to clarify:

"I am a PC gamer, I like PC gamers, and I merely referred to them as insular. I in no way intended to call them out as 'deplorables', and I think that the reporter overstepped the bounds of propriety in making it appear that I said such a thing with venom. In any case, I've given THOUSANDS of interviews without offending an entire group of people, and somehow this guy ended up with a "gotcha" moment. It's time to move on."

I wouldn't call Michael Pachter an out of touch old fart. As soon as I heard this I knew that this was taken completely out of context.

Exactly, I'm surprised how many sites have written articles on this even after it has been confirmed as false.
 
Looks like EA's Origin got a big update overnight, new sytle website and their desktop app looks like it's now an Electron app... seems to be the done thing now.

It wouldn't be before time, there store is practically the same thing, it's just the website rendered in a (bad) version of IE built into steam, moving to an Electron App would make sense for them, but the file system interaction steam does might be difficult to replicate in Electron.. we'll see.

That leak is kinda old, and it's for OEMS. AM4 boards aren't coming to consumers for a couple months at earliest since we have no chips at all for APUs(unless they release boards prior to APUs). And you don't need vrm cooling, it just helps with OC'ing but seeing as you can't on that chipset, doesn't matter in the end
