Quick News

They just said they were excited being able to maintain a separate PC build through development, where's the middle finger?

If they have to reduce VX on PC to ensure good performance because they aren't able to push visuals without hurting good performance then I'm all for it.

What's VX?

This is the middle finger -

"We do have to keep it in check with the consoles, It would be kind of unfair to push it so far away from them"

The only reason I can see them doing that is either to get it out as soon as possible as they don't have time to polish it and really push it graphically due to publisher pressure OR they want both versions to be close to eachother maybe due to crossplay ?

The latter to me kinda makes sense.

Relax dude it's not for the reasons you think.

If I take Watchdogs and try and play it with the highest settings @4k it runs like turd with the settings turned up. It's because they are lazy and probably use quad Titan X in their design rigs.

They won't have dropped the graphics to make them look like the consoles they would have done it for performance reasons to make sure that people can actually play it when they launch it instead of it being a slide show.

I am relaxed, I just think it's kind of sad now that devs are even admitting and pretty much saying "Yep, Consoles, Blame them".

Yeah it's a cop out. They obviously have a crap engine, so are using the consoles as an excuse.

If PC gaming doesn't get any better then next year I'm just going to switch over to console as other than mods and higher FPS I see no advantage to gaming on PC ATM.

Nah you've read it wrong, it's nothing to do with graphics they mean gameplay. For example the PC CPU/memory is way better so they could run with it and create even more gameplay, more customisation, etc, etc, but then it would be unfair to console players because they would be purchasing a lesser game in comparison. If they release a product under the same name then they must keep the content alike.

How do you think I feel? £1100 worth of GPUs still can't play games maxed out at 4k !

PC gaming is the biggest waste of money ever dude. It really is like chasing the dragon.

I'm done. I'm going to play through my back library but I don't feel excited to game any more. I've barely even touched Tomb Raider and Fallout 4 was a slog at times.

I can load up Crysis and it looks just as good as any modern game. That's how badly we are held back by the consoles. The one game designed for PC and PC only and it still looks stunning today.

I had a rant about this the other day. Thought it was just me getting older but I don't think it is. I have a feeling the PC market isn't too far away from a complete collapse tbh.

First off, no ever said that spending any amount of money would achieve top tier graphics @4K. Quite the contrary in fact, pretty much every article you read will say that 4K is too demanding for current hardware.

As for PC gaming, even "The Division" with its reduced graphical fidelity is still superior graphically to the console counterpart. As with almost every game available across all platforms, only the PC version will run at anything above 1080 with higher resolution texture support and usually more graphical tweaks. If you would be happy gaming in resolutions between 720 - 1080 @ 30-60fps, then I would fully recommend a console. Personally however I like the detail and obtainable smoothness of 1440. Only available to PC users and still a big step up from 1080.

The problem isn't the hardware. It's the sloppy, rushed for the $ crap games.

The PC is a second payday, that's it. If games were properly made and properly optimised they would run correctly.

See also - Half Life 2. When it came out it looked absolutely stunning and ran on any moderately decent GPU at full settings.

PC gaming is a complete con. Look at Batman for an example of that.

Hmm I need an new mouse seeing as my 3 year old Naga double clicks every time I left click what are they like Dice?

The guy who tested it over at Tek Syndicate liked it. The only grief he had was the yellow and a connection issue, which the latest CUE update should've taken care of.

Man, that fault is so typical of Razer. My step son's Tron mouse does that and he's only had it about 18 months. Cost a bloody fortune too, you'd expect it to have proper switches for that much money.

I've got a Naga in my drawer with a faulty right click. LOL these issues are so common it's not even funny. £80+ for a junk mouse with crap buttons that fail just after warranty ends.

My Mamba had the same issue after little over a year. I've had my M60 for 4 years now with no issues

I'm using this one. Its fantastic. It puts Razers innovative naga to shame.

More comfortable, better macro functionality and support, CUE is far better than synapse. Better feel on the buttons, adjustable thumb pad was a god send for me. and fits my hand far more comfortable than all the nagas.

And when Im switching between SLI and single gpu i dont have to close CUE, unlike Synapse ;)
