hard to put any stock on this, it is just speculation afterall, not from anything involved with HTC or valve.

While It can be more expensive, especially since it has a superior tracking system, I don't think it would be that expensive, otherwise HTC will have some trouble selling it.

Well Palmer Luckey said the Oculus wouldn't be more than in the $300 region and here we are at $600.

Hope it's not true otherwise VR is going to be a passing fad.
