Q6600 : Asus P5Q-VM overclocking voltage.

I've been using AI Suite to overclock my q6600 to 3.0Ghz, but it doesn't seem to have any effect on the voltage of the cpu.

How can I change the voltage, and what voltages would you recommend?

It's currently at : 1.34V and overclocked to 2.8Ghz. But I think the temps are too high.

A better overclock is use BIOS, you should read this: http://forum.overclock3d.net/showthread.php?t=7110 first and post more detail about your rig like PSU, Ram... About your question, you have to go to BIOS (press "Del" without a quote when system post) and under "Advanced" and choose "JumperFree Configuration". Hope it help nad good luck mate
