q6600 & asus maximus formula

ah well i have a corsair h50-1 with push pull on it and it seems really good at keepin temps down!

ill up my n/b to a better voltage and hope i can get this more stable, ill try a 370 fsb x 9 cause ive had it at that but it was unstable as hell and if all is well after an hour long prime 95 ill up the fsb to get it nearer to 400

i just hope i dont suffer from terrible vdroop again, you know if there is a way to solve that if i get it?

um im not totally sure if it does! i did hear about it when i was readin on this forum about the rampage extreme maybe a google search will help me out :)

Yep it has LLC:

Loadline Calibration: Stable and optimal power for sustainable CPU overclock:

Maintaining ample voltage support for the CPU is critical during overclocking. The Loadline Calibration ensures stable and optimal CPU voltage under heavy loading. It helps overclockers enjoy the motherboard´s ultimate OC capabilities and benchmark scores.

just pushed it up to 3.4 ghz with a 1.340 vcore and was running prime 95 and then it blue screened after 2 hours and it was touchin the 60's

managed to boot at 3.5ghz and get it validated, but when it blue screened and restarted i couldnt get back to the validation page ive tried to look on there website for it but it just hangs and never goes anywhere so i cant get it again ive had to tone the oc down cause it wasnt stable so ill get back 2 it later and see what i can do, i was still stuffering vdroop with LLC and c1e on was 1.34v on the bios and the validation showed it was 1.3v (i think) dont know for certain till i can get a/the validation page i already got

just bought myself a new q6600 and an asus p5k-e with the vdroop mod, its done 3.7ghz on it cant wait to get it and try it in my maximus
