i.v just got a Q-tec 550wp gold plated p.s.u. with 2/80mm fans 30a
Taken out ov a old p.c. which had a shot Mobo with a shot cap,
and iv just put it in 2 my internet p.c. spec is,
psu/celerron-D 3Gig soc 478 256c 553fsb
ram/ 1x3200 512 / 1x2700 512 ddr
hd/ seagate ide 20 gig ata100
dvd/ 2xburners
agp/ gigabite 6800gt 256ram
the thing is i hear that people saying on the net that Q-tec are a Bad p.s.u.
and cant put out 550watts at full load just 400watts max.?
are Q-tec that bad.?
am i takeing a risk by useing the p.s.u. in my p.c. spec.
I aint useing the rig for any games just for the net.
has any one on hear had a Q-tec p.s.u. go Bang on them befor.?
