Ok well i have a q6600 CPU that was stock, i overclocked it to 2.6 with stock cooling plus i added an intake and side fan so the temps are very good and thats not what im worried about.
Im not looking to overclock it like crazy just testing the waters so to speak for now.
The only concern i have is that the FSB voltage went up im assuming because its on auto and now in the nvidia monitor/ntune programs the little box is red at 1.4 volts, if i turn it down to 1.3 its yellow and at 1.2 it shows green.
Now ive read that unless your Reference clock (FSB) is over around 400+ you don't need to have it at 1.4 volts. Mine is only at 290 lol, so i took it down to 1.3 for now. Should i manually change it back to either 1.2 or even 1.3 to make the box green? Or does that red box only recognize that its over the stock number and not mean its in any danger?
Also if anything else is in a yellow box should i turn those down manually slighty as well to make them green boxes?
Thanks in advance for putting up with probably a super N00b question lol.
