Pumps strong enough?

gonna need more info, like what block it would be, while those 2 pumps would likely be able to do it, why not opt for something of better quality like the D5?? You would only need one.

Yeah there's a reason 2 of them and a res is cheaper than a D5 and a res...

lesson number 1 with Watercooling: Don't cheap-out on the pump.

Once you buy a D5, you'll pretty much never need to replace it.

Thanks for the advice, once I find my wallet/Credit Card both of which are hiding from me. I look at D5 pump, already got a case and MB and waiting on a rad.
Once measurements are double & triple checked I start order other stuff.

^^^ this!

i was thinking of doing the same but the LP/H on them pumps are poop.

also filling and darning a loop on a single bay/res is a pain in the a$$

I know its a shame because the size of the pumps would have made them a good one for itx builds were theres not much room to play with
I run a ek x-res 2.2 pump 400 LP/H works fine with my two rads and two water blocks

if i was doing a m-itx i would go for a DDC.

i'm using one for my rig now

never used a ddc before they are ment to very good ive used d5,s before good pump I went with the ek pump as ive used them before in a friends build 5 years later and its still working sold me lol

Well my case is the Coolermaster 690 III and room is a bit tight, with 2 radiators. Was hoping to use a single bay for the pump/res combo.

the biggest problem with the ddc pump's is they get hot, i have the ek heatsink for my ddc and it's still hot to touch...

I got a phenom itx with one 240 30mm in the front and I did a mod on the top so I could get a 240 60mm in the top as well but I may change out the 60 mm rad for a newer one its a bit old and the air flow could be better

-------

the front rad is upside down so the barbs are at the bottom its the only way to get all of it in its a pain to bleed the air out lol

Got to agree with this,I have had mine for about 6-7 years now, still going like new.First ran it standalone and have since put it in the xspc bay res.

initial idea was since the case could mount 140mm fan top & front, I could mount 280mm rad top & front. However once I got hold of the case and did some measuring turn out can only fit 240mm rads in either location.
The width of the top mounting bracket 4mm too small, and distance from top of optical bays to floor ~25mm too small.

So planning on getting out the hammer & hacksaw and mod the case a 'bit' to fit 2 280mm Monster 86mm thick rads.

mite be an idea to get some rad grills at lest if you have to do some cutting wen your done it looks like part of the case and it looks tidy
