Pump top question

I have a question about the pump top. I was planning to use a alpahcool hf d5 pump top. That pump top has two inlets and two outlets. Is it okay to connect a reservoir on the top inlet and use the second inlet to recirculate the coolant or do I need to connect it back on top of the reservoir inlet?

Usually you just use the inlet you want, and then put a blank in the other one; same goes for the two outlets.

only way I see of using two inlets is if you have two reservoirs feeding one pump

You can do it either way mate, after all you need a way to get your coolant back in to the res. It all depends on your loop, if you use the higher input via the res top, or a lower input via the 2nd inlet on the top.

Thank you guys for the reply. That makes everything a little more clear. I'll probably try both ways and see which one is more tidy and cleaner.
