PSU Noise

Just recently (Last couple of days) I think my PSU is on its way out, I think the fan inside is making more noise than normal, usually I leave my PC on 24/7 but as I sleep in the same room, I have had to turn it off due to this noise, I can't really explain the noise but its very annoying, I have cleaned every fan in my case, but still get the noise.

I can only think it is the fan in the PSU, unless you guys have any other idea's.....

I would jump start the PSU so you can rule it out

Replace "jump start" with "short." I wouldn't do it.

Jumping the PSU is fine, I do it all the time. And deffo every time I build a watercooling loop to leak test.

I see. I'd expect a blown fuse, a funky smell and/or high pitched whine... =]

Sure it's not running very close to max capable load?

Like I'M GONNA DIE *humm* oh no i'm not *humm* I'M GONNA DIE AGAIN *humm* no i'm not...

Also clean it's dust filter should there be one present
