PSU and braiding questions

Hey guys

I want to braid my psu cables and some case cables but I have a few questions.

First off is will my psu have enough power for my future plans. I know it works fine with my current setup but I want to watercool down the line as well so I want to know will it be enough for all that or will I be pushing it that tad bit too far.

Right next up is does anyone know where you can get another set of cables for the new generation Corsair AX series psu's? I want to have a second set spare in case I need to send it back to the factory.

Next question is what tools are best for cable sleeving. I tried looking on mdpc-x's website but cant access it until tomorrow evening.

What braid and sizes would I need?

Last thing is I would like your opinion on colours. I was thinking of going just black and white and then doing the same with the watercooling but the only thing that is kinda nagging me is the light green heatsinks on the Sabertooth motherboard. So I was also thinking maybe going black with some small light green colour thrown in to boot. Only issue with that is trying to find a green coolant to match when I watercool.

Anyways any help and opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks

You can access the german version of MDPC all the time to check out everything.

Tools:
pin remover
crimper
small cable cutter (that makes straight cuts not the one with a light curve in the cutting blades)
lighter

Cable should be 18AWG or 0.75mm²

Dont forget a quality:-

wire stripper
heat gun
soldering iron

It soon adds up, you can easily spend 300-400 on the tools alone, IMO pointless if you are just doing a single set of cables.

Thanks guys will look around more on that site.

Well out of all the tools listed so far I have a wire stripper, heat gun and soldering iron from working on my car.

As for the other tools, would a straight edged scalpel do for the small wire cutters as I have one of them from college. Do you really need a crimper tool? I am only thinking of doing the pci-e,24 pin, 8 pin and maybe so fan and case cables. I might get around to the sata cables but for now I am not too fussed with them.

A cheaper way , not by much though , plus imoa , looks better is 550 paracord . It comes in loads more colors to . It's the stuff rock climbers use , you just pull out the white middle , to be left with the colored outer shell . There is a nice little trick , where you don't need to use heat shrink , and it looks great . You tube will be your friend there are loads of vids on all the different methods of braiding .
