hey ppl,i am in the market for a new cpu cooler and i have been scaling the web for reviews,my nordwand was a bad investmant and i no longer like it

so i am goin to be fitting some noctua fans on it regardless to what i get but its just choosing the best one.

the TRUE does not fit on my mobo nither does the dual rad noctua cooler so there out the picture

the titan fenrir is the cheapest but i am not sure if the prolemtech beats it,unless its like a degree lol

i have only seen reviews on both coolers using the i7 and i no AMD run cooler but it gave me a idea

i will be using these fans at 12v,push pull (prolemtech) single (titan)

cheers guys n gals

i can buy the retention bracket seperatly

i will be using fans that are 59cfm so are you saying the fenrir for the noctua fans?

The fenrirs fan moves 78 CFM going by the spec sheet so if your 100% set on using the noctua fan then i would have to say get the megahalem as with a 50cfm fan its only like 1-2c behind the fenrir on max speed, the extra 10cfm of your noctua would proably close that gap to more or less the same

yer but the titan's fan is loud aint it,also i will use a push/pull config on the megahalms so that should close the gap?

push pull only takes off a few C at best regardless what its on from what ive seen, the fenrir on high is like 58db from 1m away in a case, the nh d14 is about 48db (about the same as the stock pentium d cooler is about 48db)

both are good coolers, just depends if you wana spend a little more for a bit less noise or if you can you put up with a bit more noise and save a little money.

yer but like i said i am goin to be using noctua fans

I would get the Meghelams tbh. It's practically tied with the Fenrir with the 50cfm fans. If you get 80cfm you beat the Fenrir by 2C. So with the noctua fans you might be getting a better deal with the mega.
