Project Whiro

Hi guys the time has finally come where funds have become available to water-cool my antec 300 case. I am doing a single 240mm loop which will cool the CPU and GPU in one loop and possibly i may run a 120mm rad in the back for additional cooling. This project should be completed in around the 8 week mark as parts wil be bought in bits rather than bulk as research and other factors may change during the build.

I am currently using project MSI internals until i upgrade my hardware as this is mainly the stage where my antec case prepped with the loop functional and ready for the new hardware in a few months time.

Parts wil be starting in a weeks time due to finding them at the price i need.

So here we go =)

Stage 1 was to remove the hard drive cage at the front which will allow me to install the 240mm rad in the front and create the pull configuration. The front fans will be pulling in air from the front of the case and have AC Ryan UV blue fan filters.

Ithen put the fan controller facing inside the case which allows me to create a clean look on the front, the HDD wil be mounted in a 5.25" bay along with the DVD drive.

I wil be cutting cable managment holes in the motherboard back of the case but this wil be done as a last minute thing as i want to see where the cables go first ;)

The plan is to run the case as air cooled until i get all parts but any parts suggestions wil be greately appreciated. I am looking for the best performing parts i can afford and the budget is £200 for the whole system.

All help is greatly appreciated and comments welcome ;)

Pictures wil be soon as im having problems uploading any =(

might you consider the radiators pushing air OUT of the case?

cause you would just be feeding the GD's and the rest hot air that you want OUT :P

were are you gna mout the HDD?

might u wanna think about external watercooling, also a dual rad might not be sufficient for cooling the cpu and the gpu in one loop
