PROJECT:its about time

loll, im just happy the mobo works!

ok well, the ram that i sold on the bay was busted. So now i have to organize an rma for the guy. Now iv got a working mobo, deciding whether to keep it, or sell it in the classified...Probs not worth much...

well the water loop is filled again, with nicks aqz. Pelt is running nicely, will report back on clocks tommorow (im waiting on some seal string)

well the computer is being stupid, something is messing with the cpu clock, just scored 7459 3d mark 2005 with graphics at stock and cpu at 3.08 going so clock the graphics now, cpu is being funny...

into windows at 3.3, stability testing time. THink i should get to 3.4 :)

I have never read such a nightmare overclocking situation than that one Justin.

You do know that the Dfi board suffers with cold start issues, maybe this was the reason it didn't start up as I get this prob every now and again, I get the 3-4 red dia light on the board light up too.

What cpu are you using?

Maybe you should get one of Phill tempest super comps pre made.

p.s Not sure if your board was ok now but if you need a box to return it for an RMA then you can have my Dfi sli-dr one if you like.

It wasn't cold start. The ram seems kind of dodgy with certain settings. Also it didn't help that his "custom" mounting kit cause it to have no contact at all half the time. Looks like he's got it working now though.

I am getting my first Mach very soon and when I read threads like this it makes me really think twice about it all. Just reading that tread stressed me out!

Glad you got ther in the end tough.:D

LOL... you think Justin had trouble?? ROFL! :D

Its definately worth it. Lots of fun, and educational too.

Did you also have probs? I think its much better to get your education by reading about it but not to have it happening to you personally. There no worst a feeling than killing say a £400 gpu and knowing that you can't RMA because of the mods that have been done.:(

I Got my mach coming soon and a 57-FX ready & waiting. Fingers crossed you wont be reading a tread like this started by me:rolleyes: .

Read the trouble we had in the x1800 thread.

its not that bad, just graphics overclocking was very annoying

any objections to the fan controller lol

suspense, chilly conversion should arrive before 6!

Im tidying this up, the amount of posts is silly and the main culprit is justin. If you HAVE to post multiple things in 1 day in the same thread with no replies, please edit the last post you made.
