Hello guys,

This log will be very quick as it is practically now completed and being leak tested.
I was given this case and fans by Nanoxia, primarily to write a review,
but they also wanted to see what could be done with a DS2 as they were convinced that only a slim 240mm rad could be mounted to the pre-existing shroud on the Hard drive cages.
I thought, whilst i am at it, ill make a computer for my friend, who has always want a gaming system but never gotten around to actually getting one.

First off i would like to say thanks to Nanoxia, Eddy, you are a star, thanks very much for letting me use this case and for the opportunities you have given me.

Another Thank you to Pascal at Alphacool who has supplies all of the water cooling that i needed for this, thanks mate couldn't have been done without you!

Cheers to Silverstone for supplying a 850w PSU which will have enough juice if another 680 is added a little later!

Another Thanks to Western Digital for supplying some storage for this build, a 500gb Caviar Green.

And thanks to Mr. James Churchill AKA Pexon for the sleeving, MDPC is just brilliant sleeve

Now for a few specs and parts.

Motherboard: MSI Z77 Mpower
CPU: Intel i5 3570K
RAM: 8gb G.Skill TridentX @2400mhz
GPU: EVGA GTX 680 Signature 2
PSU: Silverstone Strider Plus 850W
SSD: 240gb Mushkin Chronos
HDD: 500gb Western Digital Caviar Green
Case: Nanoxia Deep Silence 2
Fans: 9x Nanoxia Deep Silence 1200RPM

Watercooling
Pump: Alphacool D5 Vario with Alphacool Top
Reservoir: Bitspower 150 Z-Multi
GPU: Alphacool Nexxos GTX 680
CPU: Alphacool XP3
Radiator: Alphacool 360mm Monsta
Fittings: Alphacool all copper compression fittings
Coolant: Mayhems X1 UV Green

Below are a few pictures of the build. to make the Radiator fit in the front of the case, i had to drill out all of the rivets holding the drive and optical bays in place then it was a simple case of bolting the radiator to the pre-existing grill in the front of the case. The top fans are not bolted to the case but can breath due to the Drive bay covers being meshed and allowing for airflow.
I will post up come more photos when it is finished and show where i have mounted the storage devices.

BEWARE NERD PORN THE COOLER IS OFF!!!!

Dude, where do you get all those sponsors from? I'm proper jealous :p

Nice rig, though I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the copper + green, if I'm honest.

If im honest nor am i bud it was my buddies request, it is his computer and he has to live with it, he loves the way it looks so that all that matter i suppose.
I was using some fittings to fill up the loop where the copper had dulled due to reacting with the air over about a year period and the greed suited them better.

This is the guts of coolsair yes,
i have much, much grander plans in the works atm!
still revolves around the deep silence 6
Oh yeah, I remember you saying you were going to upgrade to haswell :D
Anyway, good luck with this project, and of course Coolsair too :)
