Hi guys, i introduced myself on the forum yesterday and as said in that post,i'm gonna make a buildlog about my new project. Now first of all, i've got no pictures yet since i ordered everything today.

What will i do?
Well i ordered a CoolerMaster Cosmos SE that was released recently,i've seen that not everyone is happy with it but i just like the looks of this.Its not to big but not to small either. It will be painted white (inside and outside) with red accents. The full system will be liquid cooled with a red coolant, CPU,MOBO + 2 GPU's.

But i've got a question for the people here, is there some one that has a good idea or nows a good way to paint blood drops on an object. I'm not really sure how to thats why i ask ^^

Now for the specs

PC Hardware ;

Case ; CoolerMaster COSMOS SE (ordered)
MOBO ; Gigabyte 990FX UD7
CPU ; AMD FX8350 (ordered)
GPU ; Gigabyte GTX680 SOC SLI
SSD ; Corsair 120GB ( cant remember which it was specifically)
PSU ; CoolerMaster Silent Pro 1000W
RAM ; Kingston HyperX 16 GB 1600mHz Quad version

WC parts ;

Alphacool VPP655 - Single Edition
Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 Full Copper 360mm
EK Water Blocks EK-FB GA 990FXA-UD7 - Acetal+EN (Nickel)
MIPS ICEFORCE HF Sockel AMD Nickel POM
XSPC Acrylic Dual 5.25'' Reservoir voor Laing D5
MagiCool SLIM DUAL 240 Radiator (ordered)
2x EK-FC680 GTX SOC (ordered)
Mayhems X1 Blood Red Coolant (ordered)

For fans i'll be using Corsair Air Series SP120 High Performance Edition and the AF series that i already have.
Now thats it for now. I'll be updating this once i've got my stuff delivered and i hope thats asap ^^ Let me know what you think about this and if got any question or tips for it :)
Tbh its my first buildlog and the second time i make a build myself so still very noobie at this :D

Not sure if you're looking for advice but I'll give you mine, I'd personally ditch the 2 680's and go for a single 780ti, also ditch that psu and go for a more reliable corsair one, prob 750w is more than enough for a single card.

Oh I see you already ordered waterblocks, can you cancel those?

Well i already have the 2 680's cause they were on sale last summer in germany for a nice price ^^ and about the PSU, i won that one a year or 2 ago so yeah would be kinda silly to change it :D i already have the hardware thats posted besides the few parts where i've written "(ordered)" at the back. If i would have the choice now i would idd buy 780ti but i think it would be silly to sell the 680's just to have a 780ti :D and ofc i'm looking for advice if some one has some

Oh, yes it is stupid if you already have it, I thought you still have to order them.

As for the blood drops, you might find decals although they might be tricky to apply but not impossible, or find someone good with an airbrush.

I am currently searching for a video MNPCTech did once where they sprayed a side panel with water and then paint brushed over it to get the droplets looks, I can't seem to find it though -.-

Ouh nice idea with the water on panel ;o i might try it myself to see what effect it gives and how wel it works

You could paint it red first let that dry completely, then paint over that with black (bear with me) while the black is tacky use a pipette to apply some acetone in droplets leave that a couple of seconds then blow it in a desired direction slowly with a straw to reveal the red below to give the illusion of blood dripping from the case.

@ Wraithguard ; Thanks for the tip! Gonna try that out too

Now guy's, sorry for the long waiting but the first stuff arrived today. Finaly got the case and CPU. Normally i would've got the GPU waterblocks too buuuuut i went full retard.. i forgot to give DHL my house number to deliver . . . :D stupid me. But well yeah,they'll deliver it tomorrow ^^ Current plans, wednesday will be paint day. Gonna get some white and red paint tomorrow so i can finaly begin with the build.

Here are some current pictures ;

If anyone has some tips on how to make a nice and decent buildlog or any remarks in how i'm doing,tell me! First time i actually make a buidlog :D

I'll keep you guy's posted,till tomorrow when i get my GPU waterblocks c;

Iknow right :D

Today my EK GPU WC Blocks arrived and just take a look at these beauty's

Never thought they would be so heavy but they feel nice and clean ^^
Now i'm still waiting for my 240 RAD,coolant and my SP120 fans.
Tomorrow will be paint day!

Could you please explain this, as I don't see any retardedness so far?

i wrote a few posts a go that i went "full retard" because i forgot to give my house number to the delivery company :D

Tbh, Sorry i havent posted any updates of the painted stuff, it turned i couldn't paint as much as i wanted to cause there was a lot of wind outside and i dont have any place to do it inside ;s
But i will go on with the painting this weekend. They delivered my rad,coolant and fans today so i might be able to actually build some thing this weekend ^^
I hope i can do it asap so i can order the amount of 45/90 dergree fittings needed. Not sure of how i'll make my loop so here i've got a question
I was thinking of going From reservoir » 240 rad at top » CPU » MOBO » 360 RAD in front » GPU 1 » GPU 2 » reservoir again. Now my question is, does this make sense or doenst it matter at all for going from mobo to rad first. What kind of loop would make most sense?

Than i've got another question,i've seen a lot of builds where they use push/pull on their rads,looks good but i wonder,does is really make a difference?

Long story short: beyond res> pump, loop order doesn't make much difference, so the key is to rig it up so that it looks good and clean with as little visable hose and cross overs as possible.

As for push/pull, it does make a small difference but most people who use it, do so for looks, not performance.

aah okay i get it,thanks for the answer :)

Here i am again with some pictures,painting is done although it isnt done perfect but i did my best,dont have the budget to redo it again till its perfect ;s But my next investment will be getting into airbrush and taking painting to a next level for myself.

Here are some pictures of how it is now ;

Ha ha sorry as you been informed already I'll leave it but it is actually a reference from the film Tropic Thunder you'd need to watch it to get the real gist of it.

Looking nice and clean there. Actually makes the case seem smaller!

Wanna ask, whats the main differences between this and the previous model?
