Do you honestly need an optical drive?

If you intend on making a great looking case. Less is more. Also you might want to get the black CSQ fittings for your case if you opt for the 900D.

edit* Don't bother with the tiamat 7.1

While it looks great, and sounds great for FPS games. It is awful for literally EVERYTHING else. Microphone is very weak (check reviews). Music and videos will sound empty even if you switch to stereo configuration. In case you are wondering. I have it myself and it was an terrible investment for me. It is now gathering dust and I switched to the Corsair headset.

Apart from that, the rest looks pretty good. Check the rig gallery for ideas, also people have listed their watercooling parts (like myself) in that section of the forum so should give you a good idea.

I love how everyone always picks up on this type of thing

I notice there's no fans on here; what fans are you planning on using? Also, are you only cooling the reservoir? I can't see any waterblocks... ;)

Don't just buy straight fittings, get a variety of straight fittings, 45°, and 90°. Maybe even some 30° and 60° ones, but they're a bit more specific use, the straight , 45°, and 90° ones tend to be fine for almost all applications. Getting suitable fittings is one of the best ways to ensure you have a tidy loop.

Thanks for your answer....I will notice this. Can you tell me BTW which Corsair headseat r u using?

I need an optical drive, because the PC won't be just for gaming...it will be for hardcore gaming,watching/editing/burning videos, including Blu-Ray.

I wrote this at 12 am....I forgot the fans.I will use 18 Corsair SP120...I will update the OP.

looks good to me some serious thought put in to it!

thanks ;)

18 SP120's? jebus dude Im not sure what youre planning on cooling because you dont need it for that rig lol.

Also with the 900d its difficult to build that thing tidy so careful hosing will be key to make this go from a n000b rig to a quality rig.

How are you planning on laying out the rads?

So...I will use an Alphacool 480,360 and 240.....the 360 needs 3 fans on both sides =>6 ,the 480 will need 4 on both sides =>14 and the 240 will have 4 fans => 18

I will use one 140mm fan on the back

... just to make extra sure you've got enough fans ;)

yes! :p I want this PC to run cool for 2 years at least with heavy overclocking

BTW,do you think it will fit with all these fans? I'm asking only about the 480 fan...will it fit from the PSU?

I hope you have a lot of popcorn...

If I recall correctly, a 480mm fits fine in the bottom with a standard length PSU, and I believe push pull is also fine.

Edit: I just saw you've got the AX1200i, which is longer than a regular ATX sized PSU by a few centimeters, so you'll have to watch to find out :)

Oh boy.... *grabs popcorn*

Project is dead....I got into a car accident today

A driver was trying to overtake on the opposite lane, and I was coming in the other driving lane.He couldn't overtake because I was coming, and I had to pull down the road (I was going with like 70 km/h ,roughly 44 mph).If I didn't pull of the road I would have crashed frontally with him,and maybe I wouldn't be typing now....My car (a 2010 Audi A6) rolled over, and flipped 3 times,as the other drivers who helped me get out of the car told me.Luckily, because of Audi's high quality build and the airbags I got out with minor scratches. The car is totalled,though..I need the money which I planned to spend on the PC to buy a new car. This project is dead.

I'm sorry to hear that, but the most important thing is that you're okay; the build can always wait.

Thanks.Luckily I was the only one n the car.The police said he was the guilty one,and his insurance will pay for the car.I will definetely buy another Audi. The best and safest cars.

At least it comes out of his pocket then; did he crash too?

Good to hear you're alright mate. That PC will come later and is obviously of lesser importance at the moment. :)

No. "There was no contact between the vehicles".He was overtaking, and if I didn't pull of the road,we would've crashed frontally. The other drivers helped with the police, and they told them I had no choice. They are were on my side.
