Welcome to my latest project (Juggling 4 projects at the same time is fun)

This build is inspired by the car from the green hornet movie.

Congratulations. It looks absolutely nothing like the render at all.

Not sure if you're trying to be funny, or just being a d***.
The project has just started, says under the last photo

I would recommend you to not critizise every build log with that attitude, it is not helping anyone at all.

To craig: I hope you do something great with that german piece of engineering :D I've actually been following your other build as well and those are all extravaganza and I like that!

Thank you, TPC, this is my 3rd case mod for be quiet!
May not look identical to the render, but it'll be close enough :)

The render is a totally different scale. Not only that but in the render there is no green mesh on the side.

So no, I wasn't being a d*** I was being factual.

TPC. This is the Project Logs area of the forum. That does not mean that people are not allowed to offer fair criticism. So I wasn't "being a d***" I was just simply pointing out fact.

Oh, i'm sorry. I'm not good with rendering software.
Plus again, it also says above that photo ''This is what it could look like'' Emphasize the ''COULD''

Alpenfohn fans could work a little better aesthetically for this maybe?

But I see you already have some Thermaltake fans so disregard...

Those fans are pretty nice, i see coolingshop has some in stock. Might be worth picking up a few 140mm's. Thanks for that heads up Darth.

No worries dude, are you planning on removing the 5.25" bays and replacing with the louver like design in the render?I think it would look sweet with 3 of these in the front the green inner ring would give some nice contrast to the front and get closer to your original design but with 3 fans instead of 2

The bottom of the case will be completely cut off, so it's flat. the bays removed, i put some 120mm ring fans in to show off the case.
Will have enough space for 2x 140mm fans in the front before i make the grill.
This also shows that the render was accurate :P just don't like people jumping at conclusions.
with the little space between the two fans i'll be getting a lazer cut green hornet logo.
I'm still debating on using silver or black front grill.
my builds just kind of fall together near the end lol

Ahh I see where your going with it now, I still think 3 fans would fill up the front allot better than 2, there would be plenty of space for them to fit once the front bays are gone, you could use a 360/420 radiator bracket to mount the fans and you could even hit up Be Quiet! for a spare front filter and mod it to cover the entire front ( I seen someone do this with a 600t, they essentially glued 2 grills together it turned out great ill see if I can find it for you) behind the grill with a filter which would be nice functionally, but I;m sure you can see the final result in your head better than I can with your render so maybe you dont want to go this route.

I think silver could work well or maybe some kind of greyscale to break up the black/green but again I'm sure you can see better in your mind what will work with your design.

Your sponsor images are too big and have been removed.
Please resize them so they are no larger than than 400px squared (E.g. 200x200 or 300x100 are acceptable) and reupload.

3 fans would definitely fit, currently removing the rivets on the drive bay brackets.
Hopefully my order of cutting discs arrives tomorrow, i'll get the bay completely out then.
I'll see how i get on with 2 fans, then i'll place in 3 to see how it looks.
Advice much appreciated

Sweet build dude! And honestly, to hell with other people's opinions....unless they are worth while. Haters gonna hate so let them be miserable about something they can't change!

Going to follow this one, I'm interested to see the end result!

Maybe you should try something different with the GPU as you have that positioned the same as your Reptile build. What about using an offset angle like 45degrees from horizontal position?

It would mean using mounting brackets in some way but could look good.

Not sure how the adapters work - I'm assuming they're flexible cable so why not go SLI and have two? 90 degree V8 FTW :)

No idea if/how it would work but it would be interesting!

/edit - for my two cents - Chrome for the grille. Keep it on point with the inspiration.

45 degree angle is easy enough, will need to see how it's going to pan out.
Don't have the funds for another £600 GPU, so SLI is a no go.
Thanks for the feedback
