Problems with DDR2:(

Basically i recently got some new ram (OCZ sli ready 1066 4x1) and i was comming to the point where i want to over clock. How ever when i try set the mem frequency as manual to 1066 i get this BSOD error: 0X0000007E

any ideas? really not wanting to run mem test as im out of cd/dont have floppy.

Let's try to say this in english (never tried haha).

Maybe you need to raise your memory voltage and don't let it in AUTO, see the memory specs in their website or in the package.

Maybe one of the sticks just can't deliver.

hey tj! it might be your motherboard rather than the memory cos your using all 4 dimms!!! try runnin the ram multiple times in a 2x1gb setup @ 1066 rather than 4x1gb maybe u might need to use the ram @ like a 1000mhz or sumfin! pop ghosthud a message it was his ram he will know more about it than me!! (what i am sayin is your motherboard might not like usin 4 sticks of memory! but you might get past this by underclockin the ram!)
