okay well,pc was running nice and stable at 3.1ghz,so i decide to push it to 3.3 ghz boost the voltage upto 1.40 volts, boost the ram volts upto 2.0 and then the comp freezes at bios,so i hit the reset cmos button numerous times...and it keeps freezing at the bios screen,so i take the battery out and leave it out for 20 min, only to put it back in and get nothing but a blank black screen on the monitor and all fans but one with just its Blue L.E.D lit up but no fan spinning like the rest?

i cant seem to figure if something could be blown or what not,any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

your on the striker, i had that, its a stroppy board, leave it to rest and it should be fine tommorow... 3-3.2 is about the limit for quads on that board

should i take the battery out? and just leave it out until tomorow morning or something....

i took it out, just incase....doesnt matter,il put it bak in and give it another try later in the morning, thanks for ur help

if the fans are not spinning it could be the board.

-make sure your PSU is rated for it

-make sure that all conections are correct

if the fans are spinning and its still doing the same thing then its the processor

-processor has overheated and is going into this "shock" like state.

i did the same thing man. I fried my 9600 BE phenom. i clocked to hard and it is doing EXACTLY the same thing yours is, but my fans were running and everything else. So then I droped my old 6000+ X2 in and it worked fine.

so now i got a processor to go and exchange for another and i learned my lesson on the phenom. that under air cooled it sucks for OC, needs liqiud.

im hoping it needs nothing more then a rest,i mean the q6600 GO,shouldnt be burnt out...that would be the last thing that would happen you'd think??

iv checked all connections there fine,as for PSU 850 watts i mean its been running in there over the past year or so,it was all fine, all fans turn on full like normal as they use to,only theres one that wont run, onli its blue LEDS turn on slightly,il put the battery back in,in about 2 hours time and fire it up

Try it with the basics in, one stick of ram, no hdd's plugged in. Maybe try taking it out of the case if you're getting no success. What cooler have you been using on the cpu?

Did you change the memory frequency much? I'm not sure but I fancy a ram module is as likely to die from being racked up too high as a cpu is.

Good luck mate, hope you get it sorted!

I pretty much so tried the basic side of things,um ram voltage was only boosted to 2.0 volts

iv been using the zalman 9700 cpu cooler, everything ran FINEEEEEE on the 3.1ghz o.c,was nice and stable..i had it running on 3.1 ghz for the past yr or so,until tonight when i tried boosting it up to 3.3ghz,it all went wrong:(

anyways im going to stick by waiting for a couple hours then sticking the battery back in,hopefully it only needed a rest and thats that,il keep use updated, cheers
