Problem With Overclocking of Phenom 8750

Hi I got a Phenim X3 8750 With an abit ax78 Motherboard.

but i cant overclock it.actually i dont know a lot about overclock & i need some help.

First i had gone to Bios (Its The Latest Version).Then I went to Cpu Feature and change Cool n Quiet & Virtualization To Disable.

After That i changef the CPU FID (Multipier in my Bios) From 12 to 10 .

Next i Went To SoftMenu (Something Like M.I.T in Gigabyte Motherboards) and changed The Cpu Clock From 200 To 300.

So By Doing These,I Should Have gotten 3000mhz o 3.00ghz Core Speed In CpuZ But I got 2100MHZ Or 2.10GHZ.(It Is Lower Than Original Core Speed Of Phenom 8750 2.4).

What Didnt I do ?

Is It For Hyper Transport ? if yes,Please Tell Me How Should I Deactivate it in My Bios(Phoenix Award Bios)

Sorry to tell you mate but the phenoms are really bad clockers, and quiet bad on that ax78, is that the 770 chipset? if it is my friend has the same board and can hardley get over 2.8ghz 1.35vcore on a 9850 Black edition......anyways is your hyper transport set to 3.0?

My B3 Phenom 9850 BE does ok in the overclocking stakes! HTT overclocking is never usually fantastic with these motherboards anyway. The best results I've seen have been with a BE procesor and an unlocked multiplier.

My AX78 is 770 Chipset.You Know There Is One Way Only That I Can Overclock My Cpu And It Is That To Set The Multipier on 12 (default) and just adding the Cpu Clock . so I Overclocked it to 3.00 GHZ In This Way.

But The Thing I want to know is where is the Problem From ? Actually When I had overclocked My Cpu in (clock : 300 & Multipier : 10 ), i got Core Speed 200 (Default) and Multipier 10 In CPU Z.The Main Problem is That Core Speed Has not Been Changed.(Is It For Cpu Voltage,It Is on 1.040 V)

Let Me Tell About My Hyper Transport Setting :

1- It Is Written (HT Link) 1800 In Cpu z

2- and There Are Many Setting About My Ht Link in Bios

Here Are those :

HT LINK : 8 BIT & 16 BIT

HT LINK Frequency : Its Changable From 1 to 9

Flow Control Mode : Disable,Enable (Disable Is Default)

HT Link Tristate : Disable & CAD/CTL & CAD/CTL/CLK

2X LCLK MODE : Disable & Enable (Disable Is Default)

Am I supposed to Change This Setting For Overclocking.

Sorry My Cpu Voltage Is 1.240v not 1.040v
