I'm still playing with OC settings and such, but currently at 3.2ghz folding a P6077 (non bigadv) and getting ~19k ppd. And doing so at 55C (room is 24C ambient).

With the FAH benchmark app I'm seeing about 37.5k ppd on a 6900 bigadv. At 3.4 this should get me to 40k ppd I'd imagine.

The chip also has a 19x multi. 3.6ghz+ should be no problem as long as I can keep the temps down.

This is nice,very nice indeed.

And you, coming back folding with new hardware

My next upgrade will be xeon, not the expensive ones, but happy to know im not limited to cpu supportlist

Holding back temps and ppd up,during summer is one of my concerns.

Thanks the info mate.

I haven't had much time to play with it yet, but I'm having trouble getting it folding stable at 3.4 (180 * 19). Seems no matter how many volts I give it it BSODs....now I'm thinking it's because my mobo doesnt have the right QPI link speed for the cpu: I have either 4.x or 6.x to choose, and the E5645 is 5.86 QPI. What do you guys think?

What's confusing is that it seems stable at 3.3 (170 * 19) and I am seeing about 45k ppd from it at that speed.
