Hey, I currently have a thermaltake tsunami dream modded to fit a 120.2 black ice pro rad at teh top of the case...
My current psu measures 57cm's from the back of the case to the centre... my radiator is mounted 69cm's away from the back of the case...
Im currently debating between getting a Powerstream 520w, neopower 480w, tagan 480w U01 or the Hiper Type R 580w Modular...
I have two problems, the powerstream or so i have heard, is longer than most standard psu's, does anyone know exactly how long is it, measure from the back of the psu to the front...
same for the other psus if you have them...
The second problem is both the neopower and hiper have modular cables... this would interfear with the back end of the rad, especially with the hiper as they appear to stick out a fair distance...
Id like to know if they fit, i wouldnt like to externally mount the rad on the top as it would spoli the case unless i built a systlish shroud...
On a side note - I have temps with a stock venice 3200+ at 38 idle both on a msi neo2 k8n and a dfi sli-dr, i know this isnt down to the watercooling as it kept my last venice 3000+ at 29 idle at stock and 31 idle @ 2835mhz...
Could they both just have faulty sensors or would most of it be down to room temperatures as it has been very hot here lately and my room is always baking... its not been uncommon the last few weeks to have idle temps of 42 degrees.... ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH
my room is cooler today hence 38 degrees, system is fully bled, my reservoir is mounted on the top of case directly above the psu.. being the highest point it will natually bleed...
