Power Supply Wattage

Hey guys.

I'm thinking of doing a build, but I already have budgeted to use my current power supply, but my fear is that it is not enough to power my rig.

Parts are as follows:

Gigabyte Z87X-D3H
i5 4670K
CM Hyper 212+
Nvidia GeForce GTX 770
WD Caviar Black 1TB
Samsung 840 series 120GB SSD
Corsair Vengeance 2x4Gb (8GB) 1600MHz

Maybe 1 or 2 case fans

My current Power Supply is an XFX Pro 650Watt 80+Bronze edition.

Is 650 Watts enough to power this build? I think I'm just borderline, and I don't really have the funds right now to go out an buy another power supply.

I'd say it is more than enough and you could probably have got away with a 500W PSU with that setup. In TTL's Haswell review look at what he says about the draw from the wall with the 4770k and the 7970, the gtx 770 shouldn't draw that much more.

Yep, a quality 650 watt power supply, which that XFX is, is plenty for any single card configuration and most multiple card systems too.

i believe that model is a re branded seasonic unit, very good quality psu.
yeah, you have more than enough wattage

Alright, thanks guys :)
