all these calcs are estimates and should be taken with a grain of salt plus looking at ur components requirements is advisable knowing what each components power draw is helps.
560TI Minimum of a 500 Watt power supply. (Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 30 Amps.) is the recommendation for a single 560Ti so that said 2 560ti's will need a psu with a min of 60amp on the 12v rail right.(forgetting about watts for now). The AX650 which is a gold rated psu and arguably the more powerful of the 650's out there +3.3V@25A, +5V@25A, +12V@54A, -12V@0.5A, +5VSB@3A (you'll find if you research psu's this to be the norm for 650watters) So if you go with a 650watter your psu is already way over its amp out put meaning it'll fail faster and run louder, as its being pushed hard from the start. Now lets talk watts each pci-e slot is 150watts each 6 pin pci-e power port on a card is 75watts (560Ti's have 2) each 8pin pci-e port is 150watts) so with this said a 560Ti is 300wats alone. 2 is 600watts. This now leaves 50 watts for the rest of your system. Not alot left for anything and forget about stable overclocks cant be done.
Now those numbers are at full load something we normally dont do for 24/7. But when doing programs or games the load will fluctuate of course. But running a power supply at full bore is not advisable as component failure is inevitable when pushing a psu. I dont just mean psu failure it can lead to other components to fail as well.
So with this said best rule of thumb is always get a little more than you need. A psu will only draw what power you need nothing more. So your current draw for the same computer will be the same on a 650watter as it will be on a 750watter or higher.
To be honest (even if this software was very good)made me change to a smaller psu. thanks mate
you just wasted money as a PSU wil only draw what it needs ,
so techically you just threw away money , unless you sold the old one for a very good price.

I really don't think that site is very good, according to it, I could run a 3570k oc'd th 4.5ghz and 2 HD 5850's and that would only use 440w

Link works fine for me too. I have problems with flickering GTX590's in quad SLI. I thought the most likely cause would be power supply. I installed brand new Corsair AX1200w and flickering was bad, also southbridge temp was 55c. changed PSU to Silverstone Strider 1200w and southbridge temp has gone down to 40c but still get flickering. I have just swapped mobo's from asus x79 rampage extreme which was fine with no flickering to Asrockx79 extreme11 that is when problems started. I have both extra molex plugged in to provide extra power to PCI lanes. Is the problem caused by PSU or could it be something else? Thanks for looking & any advice will be much appreciated. Ugiboy

Quick question, I'm upgrading to a system based on an overclocked 3570K ivy and an overclocked 7950, my current PSU is a 650w OCZ bronze-rated unit I bought when I built my current 6850/Phenom II X4 955 rig, do I need to bother upgrading the PSU for my new build, or will the current one suffice until I decide to add a second card?

With al that new Hardware around you dont need more than you have already.
