Power Supply Help

I need a power supply that will be able to run dual 7970,A sound card (still undersided which one) , a Asus rampage 4 Formula with a i7 3820. i will also have a fully custom water cooling loop and lights and 12 fans with 7 HDD and SSD

i will be also overclocking everything not to extree, but still fairly significant

i would like a fully modular PSU but i wouldnt mind a semi modular one

Look at the Corsair AX850-1200 range should see you good.

the Sapphire HD 7970 OC is about 300watts each and the i7 3820 oc is about 125watts, so what i'm thinking is that your rig will need about 800 watts as minimum but to be on the safe side i'd say go for the corsair ax1200 watt psu, hope this is of some help to you

Go for a corsair 950. I am planning a similar system, 1155 ib , 2x 7950s and full twin pump watercooling. I would be happy with a 950 corsair.
