In another hobby i have i'm wanting to connect a charger up to charge three different things at the same time, the charger itself connects to a power supply with banana clips these can be £35+
Just wondering if i'd be OK to connect this up to an old PSU using the psu trick. I'll throw some details from the manual below...
Connect the input leads to the 12v supply, (normally a 12v battery, but a high
quality power supply capable of supplying up to 6.0A can also be used). Connect the
RED crocodile clip to the POSITIVE terminal on the battery and the BLACK clip to the
NEGATIVE. The orange Power On/Off LED will glow.
Connect the charge lead(s) to be used into the spring sockets on the end of the charger,
ensuring that the polarity is correct.
Wold it be OK to hook it up to the 12v of an old psu? any more details needed?
It would be charging NiCad/Ni-MH batteries and it might be on through the night as well so if someone could reassure me its exactly the same as one i'd buy and it isn't going to blow up then that would be great
