Power on for a second then shuts down

Maybe I haven't searched the forums thouroughly enough...if that's the case sorry. But, I have a Mach II system that as soon as it drops to acceptable boot temp, the PC turns on for about 3 seconds and the its off again. Everything is hooked up correctly etc. The system will boot fine w/o the Mach II plugged in...but not with it. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Oh, the system is an Asus SK8V w/ and Athlon 64 FX-53.

I've tried a new power supply and that doesn't do anything...THANKS!!!

have you set pc shutdown when cpu fan fails by any chance?

+ youre using a64...have you flashed with the latest mach 2 bios?

give that a go

ok, maybe this is a stupid ? , but how do I flash bios on the mach II? Where do I get the BIOS file? And, how do I do it? Is there instructions somewhere?

tortooga send me your email in PM or email boardy@ntlworld.com and il send over the firmware for the mach2 with an explanation on how to do it. I had the same problem with my AMD64 and Mach2.
