Post your ride - discussion

Webbo, sweet care mate. Love the Octavia. My teacher used to have one, went like s*** off a shovel.

Nice car aswell Kemp, hard to find a immiclate one likes yours.

Mine is a fuel injected, turbo charged 8.6Litre Tonka trunk. :)

Here's a piccar of me and my ride:

Admittadly, my cutting out skills make me look like a girl. :D

Dude, my first car was a Saab 900s...And you get an SLK!? Now that's unfair. :P And Webbo, I love the discrete look! :D A friend of mines got a BMW 535ia, standard looking, only lowered and with tinted windows, but with a supercharger and some other mods. Goes for 0-300 before you can say "oh rly?". :P

My first car was a Nissan Sunny, Olive Green with one grey door where my Mum smashed into the original and we replaced it!

Nissan Sunnys are pretty awesome for a first car.. a mate of mine has one. :)

And Kemp, your current ride is insane.

Know what that's like, my previous car was a VW Golf IV 1,6, and after that one, I'm never buying VW again. The gearbox broke after only 110.000km, doorhandles were a nightmare, as they would stop working from time to time and so on. It was a nice car to drive, but a costly affair when something went wrong. I'm pretty fond of my BMW, but there are a few problems with it too, but nothing I can't fix myself (seeing I switched the gearbox and clutch on the Golf on my own). :)

Nah guys, I'm just messing with you. I'm not one of the spoiled children you see on MTV. My brother didn't get a car till he was 22 and it was an old '93 Accord. That was only because he landed a sick job in SF. In a year or so I might be able to use the Accord though, if it's still running.

My first car was a Hyundai Tiburon GT V6 04 6 speed standard tricked out. I had to sell that and was out of a car for a while. Were losing our house and ive been landed with 2 Mustangs!

67 GTA and 68.

Im currently in the process of making them nice. I can get pics now if ya want but they are kinda ugly right now from primer.

The 67 GTA has a 289 "Hi-po" in it with 4 barrell Holley intake

The 68 has a rebuilt 200 Straight Line 6 but im tearing a Boss 302 out of a smashed up truck right now to put in it. Gonna be a pain though cause im turning an automatic into a standard (The 68) but it will be worth it having 2 nice muscle cars under my name. I will only insure the one im driving though. Being 19 (almost 20) with 2 old muscle cars? Insurance = ouch

make up your mind mate, the top two pics are honda civics and the bottom one is a calibra

I got a long time 2 make up my mind. 80% chance will go with the 2nd one - 97 Honda Civic. Will go with the VTEC option as they are kinda powerful than the normal.

When I do get it I'll put black tints all round, alloys, lower it by at least 40/60mm all the way, full apexi sports exhaust, Pipercross or HKS sports induction kit and lastly throw in 2x 1000Watts subs with an AMP

something like this

How old are you mate, I remember thinking the same but until you have seen the insurance quotes you wont realise how lucky you are to get anything half decent as a first car.

Yeah I know it goes really, really high IF you let them know about the modification on your car, which I won't be bothering to do so

BTW im 16

and I think I'll stick to my brother's car as the second driver until im like 25 which then I'll get my first ever car (maybe)

No 'if', it will be high with or without. And you'll wish you declared them when you get a knock and an adjuster turns up at your doorstep.
