Post Your Desktop Thread **56k**

can't wait for the james webb telescope to finally launch :)

Oh dear god yes :dribble:

Thanks AW

Yeah, there's a ton out there. I had to sift through a TON of pages on Wallbase to find that one.

Yeah I'm familiar with that. I still have a tens of thousands of images on my HDD
waiting to be categorized. I've only done about 30,000 so far, and it's a shitload of
work.

My res is 1080p btw, if anyone was interested. Running a 23" HP IPS panel (2311xi). I really would like to get a second monitor, but my current desk can't fit it.

Multi-monitor stand? Although a decent one costs about as much as a good monitor alone

Nice, if i didn't have a saab i'd probably have a volvo T5. That 5 cylinder soundtrack is always worth a listen. Mine is a 1995 900 turbo which i've slowly been live tuning, presently sitting at 265hp. Yours ought to be near enough that as standard though.

The V6's are awesome(used to have a Cav V6(same engine),and the things that I upset were amazing).
You are at 265?getting very close to the limit of FWD then, probably past it,seeing as its a turbo and not a straight power curve.

IKR? I was looking at them on Newegg and Amazon and was literally like

 :( :o :headscratch: :headscratch: :banghead:  :rollinglaugh:

when I saw the price(s) of them.

Note: I may or may not have overdone it on the amount of emoticons in this post. No regrets .

Most likely it's Conky. And yes, that one is Linux/BSD only.

I think you can do very similar stuff with rainmeter, though I've never tried it (haven't run Win
in ages on my own machine).

Ok thanks for the info :)

Anyway heres my desktop, Finally got it the way I want it, Took such a long time to get everything just right.

Wow, that does indeed look like it took a while to set up, very nice attention to detail and
GUI consistency I'd say. :)
