Hey, it's Google Desktop, (which I don't think is spyware? You can turn some history search option on and off though) and CrystalXP.net's Vista Inspirat 2. Yea, it is a bit resource heavy, at least google desktop is, the vista inspirat isn't too bad and I can't imagine it would hurt game performance, but if you'd like I'll have a new rig next week and can check for ya.

Just use the Vista trans pack. It dosent take up resources at all and is like your everyday XP desktop.

When I had Vista Inspirat 2 it messed with Java and made it lag real bad, when running a Java game.

Vista Trans pack dosent do that at all. All it does is add Aero themes and some wallpapers and other stuff.

When i had it it did. I have no clue why but it did because when i uninstalled it my Java game worked fine.
