I bought a PCI one just after Christmas for £30 hoping it would work with the PCI-PCIE adapter thing I have had sitting around for about five years. It does, but doesn't. It installs and works for about 10 seconds, then Groove stops playing. Then no sound at all.

Thankfully I have a buyer for the PCI card as I just built my mate's kid a gaming PC, and he is using a Sandybridge CPU and Intel board I got for him for nothing so he has a couple of PCI slots.

daaaamn, i would've bought this off you!

One of my EVGA CLC 280's fans learned a new feature, 0 RPM mode. I never liked these fans even when they worked so I was almost happy to be able to ditch them.


Got some cheapo Arctic P14 PWM fans, which seemed to be too good to be true on paper - high static pressure, low noise, 7.60€ per fan.





The difference they made was immense. EVGA fans sounded data center tier when spun up, with these I actually hear my WindForce 970 more clearly. Temps aren't half bad either.

Arctic make great fans. I used the £4 or so each white 120s for years. Wires are a bit thin, but I never had one fail

Really? I've been watching the live streams and I felt kind of disappointed. As normal it didn't look anywhere near as cool as the E3 videos but mostly I just feel like it looks like a Destiny clone or a low budget MMO. I'll wait till it comes out and give it the benefit of doubt but compared to what I saw at E3 and what I've seen on the streams I'm not looking forward to it so much now.

Honestly I'm just using it as a stop gap until The Division 2 comes out but if you want to try Anthem there's an open demo on Feb 1st for 2 days, A full 3 weeks before it comes out

Have we seen two different sources? Anthem looks good but seems to play terrible. I'm going to get bored in 10mins with it.

And what happened to you saying you were done with pre orders?

Division 2 however beautiful, but gameplay needs work or the player base will dwindle sooner than we think. What I tried so far seemed "ok" I just hope the feedback on what is needed will be addressed.

Sounds like a plan, Me and my best mate are hooked on Div 1 just trying to get those shields for extra in Div 2, Will be addicted to Div 2 as well ^_^

Yeah games like Div really are meant to be played in a group, Solo can be fun now and then but getting a group with mates is the way to go.
