Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

My lord... I've never understood why there are phones with such tiny keyboard on it. Just why? And can you even type on those? If you've got big fingers, then you're in some trouble.

You would be surprised just how usable those keypads are dude. On Blackberry they are exceptional, and I am convinced that without them they would no longer exist.

I've had several Blackberrys now, and every single one has been exceptional for communications. The Passport was great, but side loading was hit and miss. It also had a odd shaped screen.

I have had a couple of regular old Android phones now (Koolnee K1 currently, and a Oppo) but they are quite boring and god, I hate prodding the screen. It's a horribly hateful interface I have never quite managed to master.

It hasn't quite been a year yet (I bought the Koolnee in March of 2018) but I have stuck to my method of changing phones yearly (because I get bored of the same one) and just spending a maximum limit of £170. That is instead of paying nearly £500 for the Passport at launch.

I switched back to Blackberry with the Porsche (which I wanted as a collector's item because they were $2500 at launch) but BB10 is basically dead now. The browser was outdated, and using the web was hit and miss because of security certificates etc. However, it did make a fantastic internet radio (and it's stunning) that I use daily.

Still got my Passport too, as selling it would involve such a loss that there's no point.

Then again I don't buy phones to sell. I "only" paid £169 for the Keyone, but from what I have seen they are fantastic. The thumb print scanner seems like it will be easier to use than randomly sticking my pointer finger around the back of my current phone and hoping for the best.

Plus it'll work, because Blackberrys always do. They really are exceptional when it comes to the OS.

Not bought a case like that before. One that does this..

But it will probably come in very handy for when I am laying in bed watching YT etc. Saves having to hold it up and getting a numb hand.

Finally got 10gig home networking and 10gig ISP only thing missing is 10gig wifi :) maxing it out with 9GB/s on Lan but only managing to pull 7GB/s through the ISP and that was at 5am in the morning, during the day that drops to around 4GB/s. Also seems that the ISP is doing a bit of QOS on torrent traffic as I cannot get more the 2GB/s DL, managed to get around this by using only secure connection in qbitorrent.

Running the Intel X520-DA1 on my main rig, its an old card but drivers are rock stable :

I'm not buying any more expensive mods. I just keep dropping and breaking them.

I bought a Cloupor T8 and it does everything I want it to, plus, because of its simplicity it's been dropped several times now and still works. I'm amazed I haven't smashed the glass in the tank tbh. You can't replace that glass either..

Shame, as I like the LCD screen, but not if they smash and you can't replace :( They should at least offer a repair service.

Slowly starting to upgrade for next year as I plan on doing it all next year.

Already got the following

MSI RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio
Fractal Design S2 Case

Just picked up these beauties though

3200 at CAS 14

Should certainly serve me well for gaming

I love that 8 pack ram. Very pretty !

Ly8OSyv.jpg

That's all of them now. Shadow is incredible though, I love it !

coz of all the positive comments I've just bought the first tomb raider game to start making my way through them.

re the 8 pack ram, yeah not a massive RGB guy so these are the kind of understated look I like

PBT keycap set for my ROG Claymore, Thankfully Asus actually decided to use a standard sized keycap set but annoyingly Corsair decided to use slightly longer space bars, Shifts etc.... which I did not know prior to buying their PBT replacement set so took it back and got these from OCUK.

You never played the first one? :o

OMG dude you are in for so much fun.

I didn't like the second. The performance hit for the graphics IMO wasn't all that good *shrugs* and it was too open. I prefer them to be a little linear, like the first one. Kinda hold your hand, I liked that feeling.

Shadow is the best looking game I have ever played bar none (oo, maybe Senua comes close...) but the story is fantastic too. I won't say why 'cause I would spoil it, but let's just say it goes back to its roots. It's also more like the first one than the second too, which I am loving.

But yeah, the graphics are absolutely breathtaking and I have only played it at 1080p. The Vega 64 absolutely smashes it out though on DX12. I have discovered that in DX12 the Vega is an absolute monster. Seriously, we're talking close to 1080ti monster. BFV flies along too in DX12, as does BF1.

I just wish it wouldn't pump out so much heat. It only gets to 75c before it throttles, but man you can feel the heat lol. I've got the side off the rig ATM too which doesn't help.

In Forza Horizon 4 at the highest preset 1440P the Vega 64 is only 2 FPS behind a 1080 Ti, All depends on if the devs actually take advantage of the stuff AMD have :)

It just seems to be anything in DX12 released over the past year. With TR on ultra I am hitting like 130 FPS in game with drops no lower than 52. This screen absolutely loves this game, and vice versa.

Wish they made a block for it, though I am not going to WC this rig again. It's far less worrying to leave it for a month at mum's not full of carpet ruining green coolant :D

Yeah the cheap ones are all remote based dude. Same as anything else non PC. Like, I have a Pacman lamp that comes with exactly the same remote :)

I won't be able to change the lights with Windows or an app in Windows, so the remote is how you do it.

The rig is running all odd fans atm. I've got two Bequiet, a blue LED fan and an old Corsair. This will replace them all, give me the second intake and leave me with one spare lol.

Are you trying or have you become the queen of rgb while i wasn't looking :)
