Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

I wonder if Dicta's issue is poor sealing, it started acting up a lot more after a gravel stint. But yeah, now after the swap the bike is essentially silent, as it should be. :P

Most modern riders like that noise dude. In fact when I got to the skate park some kid asked me to hear my back wheel ffs. Then he says "It's crap, it's quiet" so I tell him I packed it with grease to stop it sounding like a wasp and he just gave me a funny look.

It drives me crackers man.

I don't mean the ratcheting while coasting, it emitted a loud knocking sound when under load. I doubt kids appreciate that.

Bought myself a new 4K HDR TV from Amazon and gave the older one to my Aunt, It arrived with the box half open and a black bin bag taped to it with the address taped on top of that, Looked like someone played rugby with the box and the screen had a massive crack in it and what looked like a stab mark in the upper right corner.

An unnecessary annoyance.

I always just go to the store and get it. Much easier and less chance of it breaking during shipping

I don't have a car so even if I go to the store I still have to have it transported to my home and I live in the countryside with no stores that sell TV's around for miles.

You have real bad luck with deliveries dont you :P

Never experienced anything like this for anything I have bought.

Had the same with Amazon recently. Tracking showed that the TV had been dropped and smashed. They really need to work on their QC.

Sometimes there are problems shipping. Sorry that it happened to you.

I bought a Samsung 43" 120Hz. UHDTV 4K screen not long ago from Fry's Online Store, in California. It traveled almost 3,000 miles to get here and it was in perfect condition. I'm near the US East Coast, in Virginia. They used UPS to ship it.

I think that shipping is a crapshoot these days, but the online savings are worth any problems that arise. My TV was a little over $300.00 on sale. Local stores are selling it for $450.00 or more. My TV is a 2018 model but a lot of local stores in my area are still selling last years products.

Shipping was free. You just can't beat it.

After seeing a documentary on how the staff are treated. I can understand why things get through QC poorly. They are treated like slaves for hours on end with unrealistic quotas to meet.

Oh yeah it's pretty bad. I wouldn't want to work there.

With summer starting to end I figured I best stock up for winter. Had a bit of a splurge, but only ended up spending £53.

I still haven't finished this.

I played this for 5 mins on PC and never returned. Not that it was bad, just didn't play it.

This isn't something I would normally buy but I figured sod it, broaden my horizons and all that s**t.

This was OK, and even more OK being just £6.

Just took delivery of a be quiet! Dark Base 700. I've swapped my current rig into it and couldn't be happier; plenty of space to work with, looks phenomenal, great construction quality. This is truly a case I can see myself living with for a very long time. Can't wait to water cool it.

Having owned a couple of BeQuiet products in the past I've always found them to be really well made.

Wanted to try Ryzen 2nd gen, so I picked up a Crosshair 7 Hero with EK monoblock, Ryzen 2700X, 16GB FlareX 3200 C14, and an ADATA SX8200 NVME SSD. If you like black, it's a sexy combo:

Here it is burning in on my ThermalTake Core P5 'test bench' with a pair of old GTX980s:

Yeah it is. If I do go ahead with a possible plan in my head I may get something like that.

Winter is coming, so I got two XXXL onesies. Far too large, but I can sleep in them also (I hate sleeping under covers I feel trapped)

Two pairs of slippers. One for here and one for ma's.

After spending four days with my family and hearing them whinge at me how my Ecig was too loud I succumbed and ordered this for £24.

Mine takes two 18650, same as that, but mine is mech and you can only lower the volts not the watts. I also found out after ordering it they had made a price mistake, as it's £60, but it seems like they have honoured it. We shall see (it's OFD today to my mother's)

Got some coils.

And wait for it.............. My first PC purchase in over a year.

Long story short I have been considering re-casing my PC for a while. Why? well, now that software is becoming more highly threaded I am realising that a 120 single thickness AIO is not enough to cool an angry 14/28 CPU when it really gets going. So I want to go water, but I know there is no chance of ever fitting it in the triad case. So I may, MAY just have to do something about that and I was put off by my PSU having blue cables, something I would like to ditch. However, go find me the replacement for my AX 1200, it would cost a fortune.

Those (24 pin, 8 pin EPS, 6 and 8 pin PCIE) cost me £20 in the clearance.

A pair of fat 50-584 thickslicks for my commuter bike:
