Now if I could only get the board to post @4000mhz

Grand total of £6,700, Nearly lost my lunch forking that amount over to Apple.

Apparently that performs worse than the lower spec model under extended load since the 6 core CPU throttles like hell after a few seconds. It's simply not designed to handle the heat. :lol:

Apparently that performs worse than the lower spec model under extended load since the 6 core CPU throttles like hell after a few seconds. It's simply not designed to handle the heat. :lol:

Actually depends on the workload, If you use Final Cut Pro it's actually faster than the previous gen and the current i7 6 core offerings Apple has, But it's only faster in very specific scenarios.

Even as far as PCs go, there are far better PCs to use for work than a "yuck" ROG branded machine. If you are suggesting ROG to her, you might as well tell her to choose Apple.
