Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Very cool but the brand mixing would drive me nuts, 2 x ROG products and then an EVGA product, I'd have to have all ROG ^_^

yeah i know, i kinda regret it now :P I knew I should've picked up the ROG 1080Ti instead  too bad I already sold the Destiny 2 key or else I would've swapped it :(

Brand mixing doesn't bother me very much. I think you can easily make it work in your favour. Plus some would say the EVGA SC3 is better than the Strix.

yeah it doesn't bother me either. The only issue i have with FTW3 is it doesn't boost up to 2ghz, but i guess it's normal. Probably the same happens with the STRIX.

Boosting to 2Ghz with a 1080Ti out of the box is not terribly common as far as I know. Even 1080's don't always boost that far. Usually it's just shy of 2Ghz.

I have a SC Black - essentially a reference card with better air cooler. It's on water and out of the box will boost to 1974MHz and I can't get it stable at 2GHz...

1974Mhz is the default for most Pascal boost clocks, yeah. That's what my 1080 hit as well, then when temperatures surpassed 60°C it settled at around 1962Mhz. It can clock beyond 2Ghz though. It's at 2050Mhz at the moment with stock voltages. It's not unusual for a 1080Ti to not surpass 2Ghz, but most would be able to hit 2Ghz as far as I can remember.

same here. my ftw3 hovers around 1962Mhz after 60c :P

Yeah mine goes from 1940-80 depending on the game.

Nearly there.

Bars, stem, grips, seat post etc all arrived today. Some of it was a week late.. I asked the postie about it and he said "The local office is hell ATM. Seriously, stay away !". Good old Black Friday and an unprepared British business (as usual).

Ordered my vaping liquid a week ago, finally arrived even after receiving a refund (which reminds me I must go sort that out). Was RMRD too !

Hoping the sun is out and the winds low tomorrow 'cause I'm riding that thing come rain sun or whatever else !

My old, cheap mouse is on its way out, so I bought myself the Logitech G403 Wireless at a pretty good price.

Paid the same price as the regular, wired version. Also, if there are any Americans looking for a new mouse, this one is currently being sold for $40 at Best Buy thanks to Black Friday. That's an insanely good price imo.

ok guys i think i am in need of a psychiatric specialist , cause i must be nuts lol
just ordered my project 916 , will post a real picture when it turns up , that's if I've not been certified

Aww man that frame looks awesome. The crank seals the deal too. But are you really keeping the forks chrome? feels very out of place to me.

The front end is chrome, just as it was on my stolen 98 Quadangle.

That's it finished and me out on it on Sunday. Got another one now :D for a total of 6 haha.

My ancient laptop was starting to become unbearably slow, to the point where booting would take upwards of 10 minutes. So I bought a small SSD to replace its harddrive.

This laptop is only used for MS Word, e-mails (and Facebook/Reddit during boring lectures on Political Science), so 120GB should be more than enough.

Also my Steam Link arrived. The packaging was surprisingly great. It even included a (rather short) LAN cable. There is some latency, but it's not terrible by any means.

I was also supposed to get a new battery for my laptop, but the courier didn't show up.
